John Nye has over 20 years Food and Beverage experience as Corporate Chef, Food and Beverage Director, and Director of Operations for Chain Restaurant Groups and Hotels; Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Cohn Restaurant Group, King’s Seafood Company, Robert Mondavi Winery (California Adventure Park), Schwartz Brothers Restaurants/Cucina Cucina Restaurants. Designed and opened more than 40 restaurants in California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada.
John has developed and implemented training and systems in all associated properties for consistency, safety, productivity, and profit.
He is a recipient of “Beacon of Light Award”, Prentice School, Panelist NRA “Great Chef’s Panel”, California’s top seafood chef in “Great American Seafood Cook-off” (Food Network Challenge). Public Speaking for Flavor Conference and Chain Restaurant Management Conference, WSU.
